Great little spot! Went there early on a Saturday evening and got seated at one of their wooden booths. Ordered the soft shell crab, chicken gyoza, a couple of bento boxes. Everything was super fresh - even the gyoza are fresh and handmade. Service was excellent. 10% discount it paying in cash!
Lady at the cashier is great. Now the bad: The sushi was literally hard cold straight out of the fridge... no wonder pickup times are 5 minutes... Like why? Very unfortunate. --- EDIT: KIBO made things rite and went out of the way to make us happy. Once again we were very pleased with our food. It was fresh and super tasty! Thank you and see you soon!:)
Having visited Japan and hailing from Asia, I found the flavors of the Karaage, Tempura, and the delightful taste of the salmon sushi to be undeniably Japanese and delicious. The overall ambiance was delightful, and when paired with Japanese AHSHI beer, the experience was truly exceptional.
Not only is the sushi amazing and the quality consistent. The service here is unmatched. My girlfriend & I order from here once a week and for a good reason. Today we had trouble with our door dash driver and the location manager was instant to update us and apologize for the inconvenience (even though it wasn’t their fault) the care and compassion makes a world of a difference and it’s one of many reasons why this is my favourite sushi spot. Whenever my friends and I think of sushi, we think of Kibo sushi. Whether we order online or come in person, the food quality is always superb.
Overall, everything was extremely fresh. Miso Soup had a lot of flavor, and there were more ingredients used in it, compared to other places. Salad was fresh, different variety of veggies used in it, and the salad dressing tasted sweet, and I could also taste the citrus in it. I ordered an unagi don, and it was quite fresh, and it was very flavorful. I like that they put lots of avocado on the unagi don too, because it tastes good with the eel. Definitely coming back again.
Food: I came for lunch on a weekday and got the Aburi Set B. It came with a miso soup and salad on the side. The food was great! Very fresh ingredients. The fish was buttery and the sauce was delicious. 5/5 Service: The waitress let me pick my seat and came to check on me a few times. The food came out quickly and was fresh & warm. 5/5 Atmosphere: Nice music to vibe to and cute decor. The seating is clean & spacious with lots of booths. 5/5
